Dr Kulwant Raj Sharma is a physician, cardiologist and healthcare visionary with more than four decades of experience across the Indian Armed Forces, private healthcare and the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia.
After serving in the Indian Army Medical Corps, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1997 and subsequently worked in the private healthcare sector in India until 2010. From 2010 to 2023, he served in Saudi Arabia under the Ministry of Health, gaining extensive experience of healthcare delivery in diverse populations and healthcare systems.
Returning to India in 2023, Dr Sharma chose to retire from active clinical practice—not from healthcare.
He founded HexaPreventia Pvt Ltd with a larger purpose: to address a fundamental gap in modern healthcare—the overwhelming emphasis on diagnosing and treating disease after it has already developed, rather than predicting and preventing it before it becomes clinically apparent.
Today, his primary focus is the development and implementation of the 6P Model of Predictive Prevention through HexaPreventia.
His vision is to move healthcare beyond conventional health check-ups and disease screening towards a proactive, personalised and predictive approach—helping apparently healthy individuals understand their future health risks and take timely action to prevent or delay the onset of serious disease.
After a lifetime spent treating disease, Dr Sharma’s mission today is to help people prevent it.
